Wheels Around Grantown aims to promote cycling in Grantown and the wider Strathspey area. It started with a cycling festival held in  April 2025 which included:

• a balance bike picnic
• confidence building rides for youngster and adults on road and gravel
• bike maintenance classes for youngsters and adults
• accessible bikes provided by AbletoAdventure
• launch of a variety of road and off-road routes around Grantown
• a potted history of cycling in Strathspey
• a display of vintage bikes
• a vintage bike ride out

This Wheels around Grantown website has continued after the festival and will continue to host information about cycling around Grantown, including on and off-road routes, cycle hire and local cycle shops. If the festival is successful we hope it will become a yearly event.

Subject to funding the 2026 Wheels around Grantown festival will be from 13th to 19th April.
