Burma Road
This route could start and finish in Grantown but starting in Boat makes the a nice loop and gives plenty of time to warm up. The big climb out of Aviemore is often described as brutal though the descent on the other side gets more favour for going on forever... (well almost). The surface has improved and is now OK on a gravel bike though I think for an anticlockwise loop I would still prefer front suspension.
