Auchnagallin, Ourack, Dava Way

Initially on the quiet Braes road before taking to the moor on generally good tracks giving good views from the high points and a return on the Dava Way.

Route description

• 0km SE down Burnfield Avenue
• 0.1km Left up South Street
• 0.6km Right on B9102
• 4.4km Left on unclassified road towards Auchnagallin
• 8.3km Straight on at junction
• 8.5km Exit road left through gate onto gravel track leading to steady climb on mainly good surface
• 11.2 Straight on through gate at high point of climb
• 14.6km Cross ford. Track then bears W and climbs steadily again to high point near ruined buildings, then drops to Aittendow
• 18.1km Continue descent W towards Dava Way
• 19.4k Left onto Dava Way and follow waymarks
• 27.6km km Right on unclassified road
• 28.0km Left onto Dava way (just before A939)
• 28.5km Left onto farm track (and ignore next Dava Way waypoint on right). Pass Castle Grant on the left and continue to gatehouse
• 31.2km Join A939
• 31.8km Left onto Heathfield Avenue
