This a classic loop though if you prefer to avoid the busy A95 out of Aviemore then at Coylumbridge you can return to Boat of Garten on the B970 and follow NCR7 to Carrbridge.

• 0km SE down Burnfield Avenue
• 0.1km Right down South Street
• 0.6km Left on A939
• 1.3km 2^nd exit on roundabout (A95)
• 1.9km Right on B970 (CAUTION: fast traffic both ways)
• 8.9km Nethy Bridge (stay on B970)
• 24.7km Coylumbridge, right on B970 (* see alternative below to avoid A95 out of Aviemore)
• 27.4km Right at roundabout on B9152 to Aviemore
• 31.2km Continue on A95 (CAUTION: fast traffic)
• 35.2km Left on B9153 to Carrbridge
• 39.1km Carrbridge, right onto Carr Road (continue 500m on B9153 for Carrbridge Kitchen or for view of old bridge)
• 47.7km Right onto A938 (CAUTION: fast traffic) to Dulnain Bridge
• 50.6km Left onto old road just before A95 junction)
