Dalwhinnie
An extension of the Kingussie route which takes it to 100 miles by adding a Dawhinnie loop (this could be done in either direction) and a Tulloch extension to Loch Garten. Plenty of good cafes! For anyone who does not fancy the Laggan to Newtonmore section on the A86, then the unclassified road through Glen Truim from Catlodge on the A889 makes an excellent alternative on good surfaces and rejoins the A9 cycletrack about 2km south of Ralia.
